We have been very fortunate enough to acquire the assets and the old Abbotsfield Metals buildings and are going to be re-opening up as a metal recycling yard and re branding In January 2024.
We are still offering the mobile weigh and pay and this service will not be affected.
The yard will give options to the current customer base to drop off their metals at a more local site as we do appreciate some customers travel from this area to our Skelmersdale branch.
This will also give our van drivers more options to empty their vans so turnaround times are quicker and we can get to the collections a lot quicker.
We are hoping the Abbotsfield customer base will give us a try in the local area. We fully respect we have to earn that right to keep you as a customer and all we ask is to try us once and make your own mind up about the service.
We have also acquired an HGV hook loader wagon with a Roll on Roll off Skips. This will allow us now to supply our own haulage and metal skip collection service covering the northwest. This means we will be able to offer more competitive prices across the board.
